Entries are now being accepted for what will be the European crane and heavy transport industry's biggest event for years – the 2019 ESTA Awards.
The awards take place in the Spring of every year and have become a hugely popular event, regularly attracting more than 500 guests.
The 2019 awards dinner will be on the evening of April 11 next year in Munich during the Bauma exhibition. The deadline for entries in January 18, 2019.
The awards are run jointly by ESTA – the European Association of Abnormal Road Transport and Mobile Cranes – and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine.
They are open to companies that are members of ESTA national associations, ESTA special members and ESTA affiliates. The entry forms and full details of each category are available on ESTA's website at www.estaeurope.eu.
There are ten categories and smaller crane rental and heavy transport companies are especially encouraged to enter.
The categories are:

The crane and transport jobs of the year are awarded to an individual company for an innovative, complicated or otherwise unusual job, completed safely, professionally and to the client's satisfaction.
The judging is carried out by an independent jury of experienced professionals, according to a strict points system drawn up by ESTA.
The finalists are published in advance of the awards evening, with the winners being announced on the night.
ESTA Director Ton Klijn said: "The ESTA Awards are going from strength to strength.
"They are an excellent opportunity to network with senior people from right across the industry and they showcase some of the truly excellent European projects carried out safely, professionally and to the satisfaction of the client."
Klijn added: "I realize that I am biased, but if you have not entered the awards before or attended the dinner, I strongly recommend you do so. It will be another sell-out evening and well worth it."
